Berlin - Andrews

There are many veterans of the former Army Field Station Berlin who still gather and exchange stories, memories, and photos of their many years of service at this remarkable site in Berlin.  While stationed in Berlin, most of us who worked at the Teufelsberg "listening post" stayed on the Andrews Compound in the red-brick barracks buildings, which had a very colorful history - having been occupied in the past by Hitler's elite SS troups.  I have included many photos of this compound which is still a nicely kept-up area today, although no military personnel remain.  I proudly refer readers to the Field Station Berlin Vets Group, organized by Bruce Ford, at the website:  www.fsbvg.homestead.com  Bruce and several other of my fellow FSB veterans have gratiously granted me permission to display their photos here in this gallery - individal photos are grouped and credited to those individuals.
